pink tinge

A pink tinge is like this...

To make your icon or picture have that pink tinge first select an image. I am going to use this image.

If you want to you can add color variation. For the new PhotoShop users this feature will be available but im not sure about older PhotoShop versions. Well anyways. Go to Enhance >> Adjust Color >> Color Variation

Then you can pick what color variation you want and cool stuff like that.

Now for the actual pink tinge click the gradient button . A gradient tool bar should appear. It will show up as the default gradients and we need to change that. Click the drop down arrow which is left of the edit button then click the other side arrow a drop down to where it says Simple

Now you have the simple gradients. The gradient you want to use is the Magenta one. Click on the magenta one then click edit. A new screen should pop up. Click the Opacity Stop button.

The opacity adjustment bar should be able to be adjusted. And right now its at 100% change it to 0%. Your screen should look like this (but it doesnt point out the opacity stop button i added that myself)

Now click ok. Now you can play around with where to put your pink tinge on your image! This is how mine turned out!
