Everyone loves a good diagonal line effect like i used in this blend

To make this effect make a transparent blank document with 3 by 3 dimensions.

Zoom in as far as possible and click on the pencil . Make the pencil size 1px and the color black. Now make a diagonal line in the middle to where it looks like this

Now go to Edit >> Define Pattern and there you go!! Now when you want to use it just go to Layer >> New Fill Layer >> Pattern >> Select the diagonal block or any other pattern you want to use >> Change your blend mode to either overlay, screen, soft or hard light.
